Handmade Planter & Succulent Care (2-Part) Workshop
March 10, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Come on down to the 49th State and join us for a Handmade Planter & Succulent Care (2-Part) Workshop hosed by us!
Make your own unique Handmade Planter and learn to Grow Happy Succulents!
Each creator will receive their choice of clay and succulent (in part 2). You are welcome to bring anything additional you would like to add to customize your planter. All other necessary supplies will be provided.
Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to create a one-of-a-kind planter (with drainage tray) and learn how to properly care for happy succulents.
- In the first session, you’ll get your hands dirty as you learn how to create your very own handmade planter and tray out of clay. Our experienced instructor will guide you through the process, from selecting your favorite color clays to decorating the outside of your planter. Once you’re done, we’ll fire your creations, so they’ll be ready for pickup at our second session.
- In the second part of the event, you’ll learn how to properly care for succulents! We’ll cover everything you need to know to keep your plants healthy and happy here in Alaska, including watering, fertilizing, propagation and soil mediums. Then, you’ll have the chance to repot your own succulent into your new planter and take home a beautiful, thriving plant that you can be proud of.
