Augtoberfest is back and better than ever on Friday, August 12th and Saturday, August 13th. Join us at our remodeled Denali Park Pub for Interior Alaska’s premier German-style beer festival with an Alaskan twist. We’ll be serving authentic German food specials all weekend long and releasing a number of special beers brewed just for the occasion. 

Day One will feature the classic jams of The Lightning Will, Alaska’s premier Grateful Dead tribute band, opening for the headlining island reggae vibes of H3. Day One will culminate with a high-energy late night DJ set by the renowned DJ Mancat. 

For Day Two, we present the unconventional blues rock musings of the Derral Gleason Trio opening up for the eclectically awesome Matt Lewis and The Medicine. Alaska Blaskapelle will be blasting traditional German-style Bavarian bangers and DJ Mancat will again be bringing down the house with his late night DJ set. 

Smattered between these glorious musical acts will be epic competitions including a renowned costume contest, beer stein holding contests, wiener tosses, and the Hammer-Schlagen: a traditional German test of strength and dexterity involving hammers, nails and stumps. For the authentic Augtoberfest experience, our campground adjacent to our Denali Park Pub will also be available on a first come first served basis.
