The Irish Club of Alaska Presents The 36th Annual Afternoon in Ireland

The Irish Club of Alaska presents the 36th Annual Afternoon in Ireland: Irish Music, Poetry, Song and Dance, Then and Now.

An exploration of the evolution of the performing arts in Ireland over the last 100 years.  Performers will explore how the songs and poems have given voice to the important events and issues of their time and how those topics have changed over the years.  Dancers and musicians will show how dances and tunes have evolved to what we see and hear in contemporary Ireland.
Featured performers on the Afternoon in Ireland include Philip Price, Laughing Molly, Jubilee, Midnight Sun Cloggers, Lisa Maloney, Irish Dance Academy of Alaska, The Derry Aires and more.

The 36th Annual Afternoon in Ireland will take place March 17th, 2024 at 2 pm in the Heritage Theater at 49th State Brewing at 717 3rd Ave in Anchorage.

General seating tickets are available at the door and are $10 for the public and $5 for Irish Club members.
